• Negotiate with local Council

• Chair Committee meetings
• Represent the LRYSA at external meetings, and liaise with other associations, voluntary bodies, and statutory authorities operating in the furtherance of the objectives of the Association
• Oversee the general running of the Association

• Accompany the Chairman (whenever possible) to retain an overview of the running of the Association
• Act on behalf of the Chairman when he is unable to undertake his responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for all organisations connected to the Association and relay this information to the Chairman and other committee members as necessary
• Prepare any documents/correspondence/developments plans that are needed
• Maintain parent consent forms, CRB documents, and any other documents relevant to the organisation
• Maintain a database of contacts/ members/ information

• Maintain all financial records for the Association
• Prepare the annual statements of account
• Arrange the auditing by an independent examiner of the statements of the accounts
• Support General Secretary as necessary

• Take minutes of LRYSA committee meetings and publish within 2 weeks of meeting
