LRYSA WELCOMES VOLUNTEERS
LRYSA depends wholeheartedly on volunteers to provide its services, these volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just sailing. Whilst volunteers with sailing instructor qualifications are essential to ensure as many young people can have a go at sailing as possible we also depend on volunteers to help behind the scenes:
- maintaining the facilities at our sailing
venues
- helping to run the racing and record
results at our regattas
- maintaining and fixing our boats
- supporting the governance of the organisation through administrational tasks
- raising funds to support the development of facilities and replacement of equipment
